If you don't know where you are going, any road will get you there. –Cheshire Cat

So you want to move up in the company? Climb the ladder, and make your way to a higher position, the first step up is a coordinator position. A coordinator in any role and location is the eyes and ears for the leaders (who are the managers). They make sure the cast members are in the necessary assignments to keep the operation running smoothly. They resolve guest issues, and keep the area safe. We spoke with a merchandise coordinator who has firsthand experience on beginning his climb in the company. He started on the Disney College Program, loved the company so much that he decided he wanted to stay and continue to be a part of the magic. Though when we did ask him how he felt Disney treated their cast members he said " The company itself is very invested in treating it's cast members well, however there are internal cast members who treat others like crap. This is the case with any job though." This is giving the reality that even if the company treats you well, you may encounter other cast members who may not be as nice. Though this should never discourage anyone from working for the company because later on in the interview the coordinator states “there certainly is plenty of fun to be had and games to be played. If you wish to join the Disney team don't hold yourself back and always have a smile to give.”
